Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy & Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in Buffalo, NY
EMDR, IFS, psychedelic integration, and online trauma therapy for adults in Buffalo and throughout New York State
Therapy is a collaborative and evolving process that invites us to come home to ourselves with greater honesty, compassion, curiosity, and self-understanding. Healing is not simply about reducing symptoms or “feeling better,” but about creating a deeper relationship with yourself, your nervous system, your emotions, and the patterns that shape your life.
I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relational wounds, chronic stress, and the lasting impacts of trauma. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), relational psychotherapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and somatic awareness to support healing at both the emotional and nervous system level.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, high-functioning individuals who may appear capable on the outside while internally feeling emotionally stuck, disconnected, exhausted, or overwhelmed. Some clients are new to therapy, while others have spent years doing personal work and are looking for a deeper, more integrative approach to healing.
I believe symptoms often make sense in context. Anxiety, emotional reactivity, numbness, perfectionism, over-functioning, or difficulty trusting ourselves are not signs that something is “wrong” with us, but rather adaptive responses that developed over time. Therapy can create space to understand these patterns with greater compassion while gradually building new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My work is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, both of which can support the processing of unresolved experiences, the healing of core wounds, and the development of greater emotional flexibility and resilience. I additionally integrate mindfulness, nervous system awareness, attachment-focused work, and relational approaches depending on each client’s needs and goals.
Alongside these clinical modalities, I also honor the deeper emotional, existential, and spiritual dimensions of healing. For some clients, therapy may include exploration around meaning-making, identity, intuition, spirituality, or periods of profound transition and transformation. Whether or not you identify with a particular spiritual framework, our work will remain grounded in what feels authentic, supportive, and clinically appropriate for you.
As both a therapist and someone who personally values the transformative potential of therapy, I understand how important it is to feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood within the therapeutic relationship. I prioritize creating a space that is compassionate, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and attuned to your pace and needs. Building trust together is an essential part of the work, and I hold that responsibility with care and respect.
