Exploring different ways of healing
I offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic preparation, and integration for adults interested in exploring expanded and altered states as part of their healing process.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and experiential psychotherapy, with an emphasis on thoughtful preparation, supported experiences, and meaningful integration.
A Different Kind of Therapeutic Work
Psychedelic and altered-state experiences can create opportunities to encounter ourselves from a different perspective — sometimes bringing us into contact with emotions, memories, patterns, parts of ourselves, or ways of knowing that can be difficult to access in ordinary states of consciousness.
But the experience itself is only one part of the work.
I approach psychedelic-assisted therapy with curiosity rather than an expectation that a particular experience needs to happen. Preparation, therapeutic relationship, context, and integration all matter. My role is to help create a supportive environment for exploring what emerges and, afterward, to help you consider how the experience might be understood and carried into your life.
Ways to Work Together
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines ketamine with intentional psychotherapeutic support. Rather than treating the medicine session as a standalone experience, I offer KAP as a structured therapeutic process that includes assessment, preparation, three ketamine medicine sessions, and integration.
Ketamine is prescribed and medically managed by a qualified medical provider following appropriate evaluation and clearance. My role is focused on the psychotherapeutic components of the experience — helping you prepare, accompanying you during the medicine session, and supporting integration afterward.
Psychedelic Preparation & Integration
I also work with adults who are considering or have had psychedelic experiences outside of my practice and are looking for therapeutic support around those experiences.
Preparation may include exploring intentions, expectations, fears, uncertainty, boundaries, and ways of approaching an experience with greater psychological flexibility.
Integration offers a space to explore what emerged afterward — whether the experience felt meaningful, confusing, challenging, emotionally intense, spiritually significant, or simply difficult to put into words.
I do not provide, prescribe, source, or facilitate access to psychedelic substances outside of legally provided ketamine treatment.
What KAP Looks Like
KAP is offered as an initial series of three ketamine medicine sessions, with preparation and integration woven throughout the course of treatment.
01 — Initial Intake | 90 minutes
We begin with an in-depth assessment of your history, current concerns, goals, previous experiences with altered states, and what is drawing you toward ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. This also gives us an opportunity to determine whether KAP may be an appropriate fit.
02 — Preparation | 60 minutes
Before beginning medicine sessions, we spend dedicated time preparing for the experience. We may explore intentions, expectations, fears, navigating uncertainty and surrender, and resources that can help you feel supported during the experience.
03 — Three KAP Medicine Sessions
Each extended ketamine-assisted psychotherapy session provides time to transition into the medicine experience, move inward, and engage with what emerges while being therapeutically supported throughout the process.
04 — Three Integration Sessions | 60 minutes each
Integration sessions follow each ketamine experience and create space for reflection, meaning-making, somatic exploration, parts work, and considering how what emerged might relate to your everyday life and ongoing therapeutic work.
KAP Series Pricing
The initial KAP series includes the complete therapeutic process described above: a 90-minute intake, preparation session, three ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions, and three individual integration sessions.
Standard | $2,900
The standard fee for the complete initial KAP series.
Supported Access | $2,000
A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available for individuals for whom the standard cost would create a significant financial barrier.
The care provided is the same at both pricing levels.
Payment plans are available. Medical evaluation, prescribing, medication, and medication-administration fees are separate from psychotherapy fees and will be discussed prior to beginning treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines medically prescribed ketamine with psychotherapy. In my practice, ketamine is one part of a larger therapeutic process that includes assessment, preparation, supported medicine sessions, and integration.
What is ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP)?
1
My approach places the ketamine experience within an intentional psychotherapeutic process. Preparation and integration are central to the work, and I am present throughout each medicine session to provide therapeutic support.
The focus is not simply on having a ketamine experience, but on creating space to explore what emerges and how it may connect with your broader therapeutic work and everyday life.
How is KAP different from receiving ketamine on its own?
2
Ketamine is prescribed and medically managed by Dr. Gregory Loewen, who completes a separate medical evaluation and determines whether ketamine is medically appropriate for each client.
I provide the psychotherapeutic components of KAP, including assessment, preparation, therapeutic support during medicine sessions, and integration.
Who prescribes and medically manages the ketamine?
3
Yes. I offer psychedelic preparation and integration for adults who are preparing for or have participated in psychedelic experiences outside of my practice.
This may include support around intention, expectations, uncertainty, challenging or meaningful experiences, and integrating what emerged into your life afterward.
Can I work with you around psychedelics other than ketamine?
4
KAP isn't appropriate for everyone, and you don't need to determine that on your own. If you're curious about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, you can start by completing the contact form. We can then have a brief conversation about what you're looking for, answer initial questions, and consider whether KAP may be worth exploring.
If it seems like a potential fit, the next steps include a more comprehensive therapeutic assessment with me and a separate medical evaluation with Dr. Gregory Loewen to determine whether KAP is clinically and medically appropriate for you.
